Rotary Calls Plymouth Town Crier

Torquay Town Crier sacked? Well that's what I'm told by a gent from South Wales who's looking for a Town Crier to open the Rotary International conference at the Riviera Centre in Torquay.

Whether or not the call was genuine I don't know but I can't attend the event as I just, really, work my home City of Plymouth and my birth area which is the South Hams - Flete House near Ermington to be precise.

So Torquay do you have a Town Crier or was I fed a line?
